Hi,
After doing some research, as far as I can tell, the hat in the movie was made by Neil Barrett, formerly a designer for Prada and Gucci who now owns his own fashion company. It was most likely a custom hat made just for Will Smith for the movie. I attempted to contact his commercial office in Milan to find out about that hat, but so far I have received no response. I am also guessing that hat is not leather; it appears to be some combination of acrylic.

The Melton (without the Propellers or buttons) is the closest to the Hat in I robot. But it isn't the hat itself. Keep me posted guys if anyone finds where you can order online and in what city you can get it...Thanks I am sure with enough inquiries someone will produce this hat.

I once had a hat exactly like the one Will Smith wore in I,robot, it was a "NO FEAR" product. It was a black, six panel hat made of brushed cotton. Iv'e checked their web site without any luck and the only time I've seen anything like it was in this movie. Searching for movie merchandise is how I found this web page. Looks like I'm not alone in the pursuit!

Any update on this hat? I have been trying to find this for my brother since Christmas (this is all he asked for). Well now his birthady is just around the corner and I am desperate to find it for him.
Thanks in advance
